When it comes to connecting with a target audience, style is one of the most important factors. The VA wanted to target the broader adult population for their Compassionate Contact Corps program campaign, so Pixeldust decided to go for a style that would be engaging across all adult age groups.
The use of muted neutral colors and cardboard texture gives the video a pleasant and friendly look that makes for easy watching and understanding. In order for the video to connect with veterans and potential volunteers the scenes were created to reflect those of adults working from home, self-isolating, and making video calls whether it be from the bedroom or the kitchen.
