05 — FAQ

Animation questions

Should my project be 2D or 3D?

It depends on the story and the audience. 2D is warm, flexible and great for explaining ideas; 3D shows products, places and processes with realism. We’ll recommend the approach that fits your goals, and many projects combine both.

What software do you use?

Our 3D team works in Unreal Engine, Maya and Houdini; motion graphics in Cinema 4D and After Effects; compositing in Nuke; and texturing in Substance Painter, among others.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the complexity of the project, but you may be surprised: it’s often less expensive and less complicated than people expect. Tell us what you need and we’ll provide a clear quote.

How long does a project take?

Timelines depend on scope. Once we understand the project, we’ll give you a clear schedule with review points at every stage, and we can move quickly when a launch date is fixed.
