Hepatitis C does its damage out of sight. For WebMD, Pixeldust brought it into view, following the virus to the liver and its cells to show why treatment matters.
Pixeldust created this 3D animation about Hepatitis C as part of its ongoing partnership with WebMD. The science team began by researching the disease to build a narrative around its possible severe complications and the importance of treatment. The animators then created 3D visuals showing the effects the disease can have on the liver and its cells, in a sleek, modern style for portraying human anatomy.
